From First Ball to First XI
The Paul Roos Gymnasium Young Maroons Cricket Academy coaches children aged 3 to 13, at their own school or at Paul Roos.
Introduction
The Paul Roos Young Maroons Cricket Academy is a junior cricket programme for children aged 3 to 13. Accredited coaches teach the game at your child's school or at Paul Roos Gymnasium, in a safe and positive environment.
Children start with fun, movement and basic skills. As they grow, they learn technique, game understanding and match play. Your child does not only attend cricket lessons. Your child becomes a Young Maroon.

About Young Maroons
The Young Maroons programme is much more than cricket development. Cricket teaches children life skills that they will use every day: teamwork, patience, respect and how to set personal goals.
The academy brings the history and cricket identity of Paul Roos Gymnasium to primary and pre-primary schools across the Winelands. One team manages the coaching, the schedules and the match days, so schools and parents get a consistent, well-organised programme.
